Book launch „Multiple Elementary“

Since 2007, Helen Reed and Hannah Jickling have been working together to produce video and photography installations in the public and social space. Currently they are fascinated by the close contact and cooperation with children. The result is the book "Multiple Elementary". The project explores the elementary school classroom as a site of invention and reception of contemporary art practices. They tested and produced together 28 different chocolates. With the focus on the topic "Canada and Its Trading Partners", they explore the concepts of Trade, Exchange and process-based presentation. They are the 2017 recipients of the Mayor´s Arts Award for public art in Vancouver.
